What's the mic that left us in disbelief?

So the other day we get this excitied email from George. “I’ve got a topic for the show, let’s play ‘Guess the mic'”!!

He went on to tell us about his client who had just purchased a mic that was under $500, but that we would never guess what it was. While we did manage to guess, it certainly wasn’t the mic that ANYONE expected. Can you guess what it was??
